Google Calendar can cross over the Android/iPhone platforms and connect everyone through reminders and tasks, and I don’t have to explain to them how to do it or where to get it, as typically, Google has become the gold standard. I can also share a Google Calendar and tasks with my in-laws, friends, and even coworkers. Most people have a Gmail account, and most people are familiar with working in Google.įor me, this means that my husband (who is the least technical guy there is) can share a Google Calendar with me. What is so great about the Google Calendar is that almost everyone uses it these days. Even my alerts from my Hive tracker run through my Gmail ( I love those Hive integrations), but I digress. And if I ever need to access my lists on the go, you can just pull them up on your phone or tablet 3.

It worked for me when I didn’t need anything fancy, just a place to dump all my ideas and tasks, set a few reminders, and be done with it. Trello is a fantastic first-timer online planner because it is straightforward and has a very intuitive drag and drop layout.

And if you need more than just a basic task list and want to jump into more of their Trello Powerups, you can upgrade and pay a monthly fee. You can also share your lists with others so they can help you stay on track. With Trello, you can create lists of tasks and set due dates and reminders. Trello is both simple and easy to use, making it perfect for busy people who want to get organized without all the bells and whistles. It was the first project management tool I was ever introduced to, and I felt extremely fancy when I started to use it for personal tasking.

Trello is a free online planner that I have used for years. With Hive, I can manage my workday in “My Actions,” and to get a view of what’s going on with my week, I can check out the “Calendar View.” t’s an excellent tool to use on both my desktop when I’m working at home, and on the browser when I need to check any of my tasks from my cellphone when I’m on the go. And did I mention that for everything I need to use it for, it is available at my favorite price? Free! So not only does Hive have the capabilities for me to track my work and my writing schedules, but I can also use it to track all of my personal life tasks as well. Since I use Hive as a freelancer, I can access and use all of its tools for free. Hive has been an absolutely great way to track my work and at-home tasks.
